The beauty of JobFLEX is that you can import pricing lists (they’ve even set up pricing list templates with pricing and descriptions to get you started) that contain detailed descriptions and pricing that you can add with a tap while you walk the job site. Before you head to your next job you can have an email sent to the customer. Invoicing is just as easy, as you can generate them from scratch in a matter of minutes or turn an existing quote into an invoice and email it in just a few taps. Plumbing Systems Design Tables App
Put together by the American Society of Plumbing Engineers, this app lets you take the Plumbing Systems Design Tables in your pocket rather than trying to take the full paper version to every job. If you’re a member of the ASPE, you’ll have access to even more features. This app provides access to data on equations, design tables, and different plumbing systems and materials, making it an invaluable app for plumbing contractors. You can make quick calculations and jog your memory, even if it’s just to double-check pipe sizing. You can also quickly pull information from the International Plumbing Code, Uniform Plumbing Code, National Standard Plumbing Code, and more of the major plumbing codes used throughout the US. You can avoid making mistakes that can result in costly repairs and a damaged reputation. This free app is available for Android devices.
Plumbing Formulator App
The Plumbing Formulator App helps you calculate and convert just about anything with over one hundred formulas. Calculate pipe weights and water flow or refer to plumbing charts to size up your options. Check plastic pipe expansion or help your client figure out the cost of a water heater large enough to service their home, or figure out if a water heater is eating up too much gas. If you do HVAC work as well, you can use the app to calculate heat loss and the fresh air in a room. Electrical Wiring Lite App
Sometimes you need to work with basic house wiring and central heating, and that’s where Electrical Wiring Lite (or the Pro version, priced at $1.99) for Android devices comes in. It’s another great little calculator app to make your job easier and faster, and help you to avoid small mistakes that you can’t afford to make.

Copper Tube Handbook App
The Copper Tube Handbook app is pretty self-explanatory: available for iOS and Android devices, it’s a great tool for anyone who works with copper systems and copper pipes. The app was produced by the Copper Development Association and is completely free. If you ever find yourself trying to remember the right size of copper pipe for the job, it’s easy to pull out your phone and reference this app. The dimensions, physical characteristics, and rated internal working pressure for different kinds of copper tube are all available in the app.
